Girlguiding Markfield District is the operating name of The Guide Association withing the UK for the Villages of Markfield and Thornton.

Markfield is the Small Village in the North of Leicestershire, near to Junction 22 of the M1 Motorway.
The Village has a small school and the Muslim Islamic Foundation on the outskirts.

Thornton is a Small Village next to Markfield.

The Scout and Girlguiding Movements have a number of Groups that meet within these Villages.
