Many girls who'd like to be Guides,
Are feeling rather sad.
They'd love to join some new Guide groups
But there's no leaders to be had.

They'll never know new games to play
Or find out what they can learn.
And as for younger sisters
They too will never get a turn.

No special skills are needed,
Just time and patience too,
And there's a really friendly District team
To show you what to do.

"But where have all the Guider's gone?"
I'm sure you'll want to know,
"Those maiden aunts and dear old folk
Who did it years ago?"

Those people aren't around these days
Its down to you and me,
To give our time, make lots of friends
And help the youngsters too.

It's all too easy just to sit
And hope for someone new
But Guides and Brownies now are run
By people just like you!

We are looking for leaders to help with Rainbow, Brownies and Guide units in
Markfield and Thornton.
If you are aged between 18 and 65 and you would like to know more about
helping with these units, we would love to hear from you.
Full training and support will be given to all new leaders.
Becoming a leader not only helps the girls but also opens up a world of
friendship and new experiences for yourself!!
